FAQ: Holiday Countdowns
Do these countdowns use my local time and handle DST?
Yes. Each holiday timer targets 00:00 on the chosen date in your local time zone. Our code resolves the correct offset for that specific date, so summer/winter time (DST) is applied automatically.
Can I switch dates (e.g., Christmas Day ↔ Christmas Eve)?
Where it’s common to celebrate on adjacent dates, we add a simple one-click toggle on the page (e.g., Dec 25 ↔ Dec 24; Jan 1 ↔ Dec 31).
Can I embed a countdown on my website?
Yes. Most pages support a simple iframe embed. Look for “Embed”/“Copy” on the holiday page, or ask us and we’ll give you a ready snippet.
Will you add variable-date holidays like Easter or US Thanksgiving?
Planned! We’ll add calculators for moveable feasts while keeping the same fast local-time approach.
